THE LOUNGE BY ESTIL

There are literally hundreds of restaurants and cafés around the crowded Metro so a corporate lady like myself will never have a hard time looking for a place to dine. But what's lacking with all these places is the sense of genuine hospitality and unparalleled seclusion from the city life one needs after a day of hustle and bustle.

The Lounge by Estil offers almost anything you'll ever need after a looooong work week. The interior is every social media bee's dream as all corners are packed with anything sugar, spice and everything nice.

The place has a welcoming vibe - with every area filled with colorful lights and nostalgic decorations. You can choose to stay outside if you feel like spending a breezy evening or inside if you want a more intimate feel.

For starters, since the group arrived a little too early for happy hour, we rummaged the board games that guests can use for free.

The sun's still up so it's obviously too early for anything alcoholic so out goes the Jenga!

But what's an attractive place without the food? The Lounge by Estil has got us covered! Gilbert, the owner (who also happens to be my boss), would spoil us will all the off-the-menu food. From the heavenly steak to the mouth watering buko pandan, he simply won't take no for an answer so make sure you're tummy's empty when you visit The Lounge.

After our splendid dinner, we started the night. The Lounge may be considered a café but come nightfall, we converted it into a bar. What was a warm, home-like dining space was easily transformed into a party place.

I haven't even shared the best part of The Lounge. Beside it is Estil Spa, also owned by Gilbert, where their therapists are a few steps away if you ever need a massage! So, you know, if you want to pump up your pre-gaming, you better relax first and let these experienced and heaven sent ladies relieve your stress away.

This is the 2nd time I visited the place despite its proximity from my house (I live in Quezon City, LOL) and I must say that every kilometer I traveled to get here is worth it. The service they offer is beyond expected as you'll really feel like a V.I.P without them robbing your wallet. Knowing Gilbert as a man of taste and class, you can leave it up to him on what to serve and you'll never get disappointed.

Glaiza's birthday celebration was a night to remember, thanks to The Lounge and our gracious host, Gilbert.
